previously, the same team that went to worlds for most countries wasnt the same team that was going to euros, shc... generally those comps blooded new players as players that had played the previous years saved money or took a rest.

i'm sorry, why cant that continue to happen? the players that can play as much hockey as they can afford, some have to take a year out to save, and new players also get their chance.

if focus turned from euros/shc to cmas games then theres no reason why teams couldnt attend that comp instead.
