I've never understood this argument against the external mouth guards. You have a mask, Cap with earprotectors, snorkel, and unless you are sprinting mid water with both hands on your stick and even then you have the glove and some of the homemade gloves out there might be the bulkiest piece of gear, you are not in a streamlined position with one arm down or both arms in odd positions, how does that little piece of plastic truly affect your stream line?????
