Tuck is on a distinguished road
This is of course a new version incorporating the few changes voted on in Sheffiled, but otherwise the same as what we've been playing.
I was interested in a couple points.
15.2.1 Deck side-substitution (see Figure 15A)
15.2.1.1 For World Championships, only deck side-substitution is permitted.

So I don't have much opinion on in-water vs. Deck subbing, i am a bit partial to the side subbing rather than end wall but could really care less, there is a whole lot more to the game I feel strongly about and the when and where of subbing is not one of them. But what to others feel about the in-water vs. deck side subbing?? Also there is no mention of allowing players free subbing time after a goal. If side-subbing is the prefferred method from now on I would think the ad-hoc rule that was made in Sheffiled allowing the subs to enter the playing area early after a goal was scored should be in the rules. I thought it was a good thing, and Liam pointed out that it was not allowed in Bari and would have been a benifit.
