the only wrong thing he did was when he turned he tried to flick for goal but if you look closely,his buddy was in a perfect position to get a pass and flick it in as when the striker truned he opened up the whole goal.

I think you mean movie 3? Were the offencive player makes a turn were there are 3 defenders between him and the gool.
Iff you look good you see he flicks/shoot the puck in the gool after the turn.
But yes he had the possibility to pass it to his buddy. But like you said. Its easy to say it when you see the movie. But at the time during the game and the mayhem that brings the game with it you can not always see the other option. (he was busy with those defenders)
In all those 3 movies the gool is made.

movie 2 by flicking/shooting
Movie 3 by flicking/shooting after a turn.
