the bulk made gloves are very good for beginners and younger players who are just getting into the game; but i believe as you move into the higher levels of hockey you need to either need to make the glove yourself or have it specificically customized for your hand.
that's my glove, it's about 2 months old now - the thickest point on the glove would be about 7-8mm, that's on the knuckles |
Looks funny (sorry)
But iff its good for you and you are happy with it and you find it nice to play with. Its a good glove.
For my self.7-8 mm protection on the nuckles? why so much?
That pink glove you can see me wairing at the photos by skills.
On the nuckles its 2 to 3 mm thick and the rest 1 to 2 mm.
(a real bashing glove acording to duck) I need that as last heavy defender..
But the standard Sven-glove is a little thicker than my own glove.(the grey/bleu one)
2 to 3 mm on the fingers and 3 to 4 mm on the nuckles.
(at the thickest point, to the side off those ridges they become thinner.)
Those ridges are not as thick as they look.
