Try next time to catch the puck with your stick (not the handle part)
You dont even then have to waith to trow the puck back till its landed.
Like a polo player( cath and trow) catch,
move some 10 cm in the same direction of the puck and the trow it back.
It can all in midwater be done.
But this one was near the bothem from the pool.
YOu can easy stop it by the bothem (legal) and then trow it back like you also did.
