atapene will become famous soon enough
sounds then like there are some problems in the structure of your regional clubs that need to be solved sven. i find it very hard to believe that players refuse help to those who ask. as i said before, if you ask, you will get help. probably you may have to ask in the right way, of course... when i was in holland i went to a few practices at different clubs and the atmosphere was very positive and there was mixing of clubs and people seemed just as friendly and willing as they are at home.

it's obvious that you have some personal differences with some of the clubs, and more than a little bitterness shows through your messages. maybe whatever caused those problems could be looked at and you might find more help if you fix that and ask again... of course, you dont sound like you would ever consider asking for help, you sound quite happy with the painful re-inventing of the wheel that you are describing of your clubs development. so maybe this would apply to other people more?

i still think people should be encouraged to ask and approach people they think can help them if they want to improve. some people are happy to go out of their way to help others, coaching etc can be fun, but most coaches at least start because there is no-one else to do it, in our small sport with its small playerbase in all countries, and that secondary focus on coaching, when most would rather play, hangs around subconsciously... people are happy to help but it doesnt always occur to them to offer... and if someone deserves to be helped, surely they will take the effort to ask.
