If calling the Durban tournament a 'World Cup' instead of 'world champs' is all it takes to keep CMAS happy, then it seems a pretty small price to pay to stop the uwh world splitting in 2.
Doesn't world cup have connotations of a higher grade tournament in any case - see football, rugby, cricket [cough cough].

I was under the impression that junior teams are/were not welcome in Bari.

I am guessing that the USA & Canada [like NZ teams] are entirely self-funded by the players - who cannot afford to travel to Europe 2 years in a row.
Yee gods man, think of the planet. What is the carbon footprint of an international uwh player? hahahahaha.
why not ask where many other european nations' registrations are?
if they are planning to attend they should be organised enough, by now, to have an entry in.
